Brian Pedraza, Ph.D., is Associate Professor and Director of the Theology program at Franciscan Missionaries of Our Lady University (FranU) in Baton Rouge. He has served on several committees for the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops and the Diocese of Baton Rouge and is currently a consultant for the USCCB's Institute on the Catechism. He is also the director of The Dominus Project, FranU's new endeavor to help parents and caregivers be the primary evangelists and catechists of their children.

A drummer, a line-dance artist, a DJ, a pastoral administrator, and a Twilight lover, Deac daydreams of being Batman while actually helping to save souls in our city.
